Treading in Turquoise Waters

Miss Francesca once told me about a trip she took to the
Mediterranean, exploring the Greek Islands. She
remembered the colors most vividly and showed me a
beautiful postcard of Santorini, its white stucco buildings
crowned with bright blue domes.
I thought of this setting the other day when buying my
summer whites: a pair of white wide-legged cotton pants and
a white eyelet babydoll. I knew immediately that turquoise
accessories would best highlight the crisp white fabrics.
I selected bright patent pumps and a pair of blue-soled
peep-toes. I even splurged for a turquoise passport cover,
just in case I can sneak away to Greece myself.
