The Good Life

I love a tropical setting: a bright blue ocean and evenings so
warm that a sundress is ideal. I have just returned from one
such place, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, and I showed Miss
Francesca this photo of my lovely resort, The Pueblo Bonito
Blanco. I selected the hotel for its location on El Medano
Beach, laden with palapa-covered bars and noteworthy
restaurants.
My friends and I splurged on a dinner at Edith's, where the
chefs prepared dinner in an open kitchen surrounded by red
hibiscus and glowing lanterns. At The Office on the Beach, we
indulged in fresh-made guacamole and pina coladas.
We met up with my cousin, Ana, who is spending the year in
nearby San Jose del Cabo and was the perfect guide to this
charming place. She led us through the quiet streets of the
historic downtown, where we peeked into art galleries and
stopped at the local taqueria for cold beers and fresh tacos.
Aaah...The good life.
