"Favorite casual outfit?" Audrey inquired, working on our
second dish of Frozzzen Hot Chocolate. We were sitting at our
favorite table at Serendipity 3 in the Upper East Side,
enjoying their signature treat.
"You first, " I answered.
"Trouser jeans, baby-soft tee, cashmere cardigan and my
Jack Purcells," she replied without hesitation.
I lingered a minute longer, mentally running through my
closet and deciding what I preferred to throw on when invited
to a last minute brunch date.
"I got it!" I exclaimed when I came to my answer. "Jeans,
polo shirt, riding boots and a cropped blazer."
"Oh, really?" Audrey asked sarcastically, looking me up and
down. "Who would have guessed?"
I looked down at my attire and realized that it was exactly
what I was wearing. It really is my favorite.
