Miss Francesca wears beautiful hats. As for me, I have never
been brave enough to wear anything more complicated than
my gray pom beanie. But every time I see Miss Francesca
don a hat for an evening at Lincoln Center or an
extraordinary wedding affair, I promise myself that I will
consider wearing one next time too.
It was during an episode of Sex and the City last week that I
couldn't hold back any longer. Carrie Bradshaw looked just
too adorable for words.
I turned to the Internet first, and lo and behold, a world of
beautiful (and unbelievably inexpensive) hats emerged. I
found a feathered one for special occasions, a tweed one to
wear with jeans and boots, and a pink wool beret for a touch
of winter whimsy.
Hats off to me!
