Two years ago, Miss Francesca and I made a silly list of
fashion items we had never owned; leather pants, fingerless
gloves, and a track suit topped the list.
"Anything plaid," I added.
"What?" Miss Francesca asked surprised. "Not even as a little
kid?"
I mentally ran through each grade school class photo. "Nope,
not even then. I've never found plaid very fashionable."
Miss Francesca looked shocked. "We have shopping to do,"
she insisted. "You have no idea what you're missing."
And two years later, I'm convinced she's absolutely right.
Who was I to argue with Miss Francesca in the first place?
