Miss Francesca and I have spent many Saturday afternoons
glued to a black and white movie classic on television. Our list
of favorites continuously grows and includes Casablanca,
Roman Holiday and Some Like It Hot.
Even though the movies are old, I always find fresh fashion
ideas with them. Natalie Wood reminded me how classic a
sweater twinset can look, and Elizabeth Taylor turned me on
to sweetheart necklines.
A recent viewing of Imitation of Life inspired my latest
search for beautiful full skirts. Lana Turner taught me that a
fitted sweater or crisp white blouse pair with them perfectly.
And full skirts highlight lovely shoes, whether strappy heels
or flats.
The adorable factor is dizzying.
