High Rise

When I'm on a tight writing deadline, my downfall is the
Internet. I'll receive one of my many fashion newsletters via
email and get drawn into the world of silk ombre, large-print
florals, and peplum tops.
And with spring trends on the horizon, I'm especially
attentive. I'm ready to transition into a new season.
I've been quite honest about my uncertainty of the
high-waisted pant, but I'm completely convinced of the
high-waisted skirts that are included in many spring fashion
forecasts. A belt and bright-colored shoes (think candy apple
red) complete this look.
I'm ready to rise to the occasion.
