Smell The Roses

I spent this past weekend in San Francisco and relished in its
warm afternoon sun. It was so liberating to remove my
heavy coat as I wandered some of my favorite shops in Noe
Valley. A stop for gelato was my most unexpected winter
indulgence.
When I awoke Sunday morning, the sun was beaming
through the window of my room at the lovely bed and
breakfast where I was staying. What a pleasure it was to
hear so many birds chirping!
Later that day, I sipped a cappuccino at the Ferry Building
and delighted in the newfound evidence that spring is on its
way. With that happy knowledge, I let my mind drift into
daydreams of spring florals. When the season changes, I'll be
ready to bloom.
